I was a renovations contractor for many years, who was also dealing with a very painful bone disease. Renovations finally became too physically demanding for me & a change was unavoidable. Over the years I have always built unique pieces & sculptures on my days off, mostly for friends, clients & my biggest fan; my mom. Creating and building things just relaxes me. My mother told me a story about when a friend from her golf club paid a visit to her home, and the woman was surrounded by many of my creations and repeatedly asked my mother; "where did you get that?" Time after time the answer was; "Robert made it". A few days later the same woman called my mother and asked, "Can you tell me where the store "Robert Made It" is located?" My mother took great fun in telling her friend that Robert was her son and not a store at all. Ever since then, my mother has insisted that I have a store and call it, Robert Made It. Once the renovations became too difficult for me to continue with, despite my love of doing so, it was a no brainer to start building my creations full time and open my own company; Robert Made It.

ABOUT ROBERT MADE IT
I often teach young people the joys of creating and wood working, rule #1- "good enough is never good enough, only perfection is good enough" Technical skills are just one aspect of the disciplines required to be a great wood worker. Learning to be patient, taking pride in every step of the process is equally important. Never rushing for the completion of a project but feeling somewhat sad at the project's completion, this is when you know a woodworker has truly put his heart and soul into the piece. No matter the size or monetary value, each of my creations are pieces that make up the whole of my legacy, a fact forefront in my mind with everything I make.
Anthony Trenton, Executive Chef Aria Bistro & Lounge
Here at Aria Bistro & Lounge, we had the pleasure of meeting Robert and learning about his company. After working with Robert he exceeded our culinary needs with his new exclusive cutting boards for meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables. The durability and exquisite look of his products are second to none. In my opinion, this is the best quality cutting boards I have ever worked with and will only be working with Roberts products from here on in. Thank you again Robert!
Being executive chef at Terrace keeps me a busy man. At the restaurant the cutting board is my work top and having a quality board which doesn't constantly dull my expensive knives is certainly a time and investment saver. Robert's boards are absolutely perfect for showcasing many of the foods from our menu. I even use Robert's boards in my personal kitchen. Robert's boards truly are top shelf, they're beautiful, exceptionally constructed, durable and gentle on my knife edge, what else can a chef ask for?
